  • Very nice church, worth a journey. We were lucky to see a great tour guide, so you would deserve an extra two stars ☺

  • There was a long plan to visit this church, which was formed according to my hopes. It is supposed not to be visited on Monday days, this is worth considering when planning a visit. We received very enthusiastic escorts during the visit, and we received information about many local curiacity and habits. So it is very worthwhile to visit, but take the Monday holidays.

  • A landmark worth visiting. The UNESCO Heritage SITE for outstanding frescoes on the interior walls. Very well maintained by the small Venkatesh s community that still lives in the village.

  • It is a beautiful church, well cared for and beautifully restored. The climb in the tower is made on steep stairs so, great attention! The church is used by the Hungarian community, being the Unitarian Church. We found two friendly ladies, one of whom was our guide and gave us some explanations. The Dîrjiu can be reached directly from Archita on DJ133 which is not paved but it's pretty good.
