  • She looks very inconspicuous from the outside, but inside it has surprised us, very beautiful and impressive, when you consider that it is the oldest Catholic Church in Cluj (remaining from the middle ages). We are not Catholic, and yet we inspire us again and again for such beautiful buildings, which are so well preserved. Front of the Church, the space is Museum square with many cafés and restaurants, in the summer it is certainly very nice place on the terraces to stay.

  • In place of this church was the first church of Cluj, which was built in the late eleventh century which was later destroyed. Between 1400-1500 with the support of Iancu de Hunedoara, Matei Corvin and...  more »
  • The church stands in the heart of the old town, you should necessarily visit why is suitable the Church well as a landmark. There are many Cafés in front of the Church, which are however not so comfortable like that at St. Michael's Cathedral / Piata Unirii. Another question is whether they must necessarily go - because there are not so many Catholic churches in Romania, it is certainly very interesting for Romanians, for German and other Central Europeans probably but less, because you have seen that often.

  • Nice old church and quite unique. It is nice to see franciscan monks walking around. :)
  • Beautiful church. In the summer, you can sit outside, in front of the church on a terace, and enjoy typical meals from Transylvania.
  • Very nice Gothic building, although in need of renovation. It is worth getting lost in it for a while!
  • Beautiful and old church, for those visiting the city.
  • Gorgeous building
