  • If you like the history of Vlad the Impaler should go, since they have all his life and lived in this Palace, this very well maintained as ruins them giving him a mysterious air

  • During our visit to this attraction, we have not been able to enter because it was closed for work. However the majority could see it with a simple stroll from the pedestrian walkway which passes immediately adjacent. Here you will see what was left of the old Princess courtyard of Bucharest that was founded on the banks of the Dambovita River before 600 years on bloody reign of Vlad (Count Dracula).

  • Great piece of medieval history right in the center of town. Worth a visit. It's just a shame that the buildings in front of it are a bit of a mess a day take away from the experience. Also, during winter, the sidewalk in front of the gate can be a bit slippery.
  • Could have used a bit more information and could definitely be made a little more interesting for tourists. Still worth a see though if you're into Vlad.
  • Amazing historical place in the heart of the city's old town.
  • Merita vizitat
  • This is Vlad's actual castle. Shame it's in ruins. Worth a stop by, but don't expect to be impressed. The subfloor brick arch section was a cool respite from the summer sun and made for some cool pictures. Not many visitors so great place for undisturbed photos. Worth the 18 RON for entrance and photographic tax. If the management of this place wanted to bring in more tourists, they just need to decorate in period motif and have period clothes available for photos. Play up the whole dracula bit. Or leave it as is, a quiet just-off the beaten path place.
