  • In the heart of Bucharest is hiding this architectural gem that encloses a marvel: books, mugs, tea, food and many other gift ideas and gadeget. Upstairs there is a beautiful bar. to see absolutely.

  • By always in bookstores but wasn't expecting what it offers Carturesti. Books, of course, but also objects, wines, tea, games. And space, lots of space well-used. Three floors and the fourth a cafeteria with small tables where tea reading a few pages of books available. There is another venue, beautiful, neo-art nouveau villa, close to the theatre. Even this deserves. Visit and enchantment.

  • This stationery/Bookstore is located in the heart of Bucharest and contrasts so much with everything outside. It has 3 floors and it is possible also to study or stand there and read a book. On the top floor there is a bar! Really beautiful, congratulations.

  • Such a beautiful place to grab a book and read, buy a souvenir, even some local wine ... It's a fusion between a public library and a souvenir/stationary shop ... I know it's hard to explain but it truly is unique it's service offering and beauty. It also features a coffee shop at the last floor which overlooks the entire library ... The coffee shop serves fresh cocktails and home baked cakes - tried the carrot cake which was very yummy. I only wish they served something savory ... A snack of sorts, maybe a small selection of cold sandwiches for those with a lesser sweet tooth :) NB: they used to serve lunch, they no longer do !!
  • The cafe looks and feels good, but if you want to get drunk, there are definitely other places where you can do that except a library. :) You will pay every cent for the looks and exquisite decorations, as it's by far not the cheapest place to go out. Worth visiting at least once, though.
  • O librarie minunata,personal amabil si instruit.
  • Relaxed and not push you to buy. Great selection of books, pricy selection of kid toys, nice but limited selection of theme fans (star wars rules, but also super heros etc), small cafe on upper floor.
  • Great place in the Old Town to stop by and admire. The variety of books is enough to get any bookworm excited but the beautifully thought out design of the interior is definitely a big plus. I would recommend taking your time and exploring the entire place and maybe buying some souvenirs (they have some great stuff).
