Short walk and you get inside of this church where silence reigns for a moment's rest for a recollection is a must. Nice and well maintained throughout the town of Brasovshow original
Most beautiful Orthodox church in town
AndreiConstruction of the Church began in 1495 with the support of the Prince of Wallachia, Vlad Calugaru, on the site of an ancient shrine of cult attested documents from the year 1292. The Romanian Orthodox Church and school built in its vicinity, have been an important spiritual and cultural center for the Romanians in the entire Burzenland. His influence extends to the Romanians from everywhere, because here the deacon Coresi enabled which has printed the first books in the Romanian language Church. The embellishment of the Church and increase contributed over time, several Princes through donations in the form of money, objects in gold and silver, old icons and preoteşti objects. Even Russian Empress Elizabeth Petrovna was instrumental in equipping the building.
