  • The cave itself was very interesting and spectacular. I really enjoyed seeing it. The problem was that guides speak in Romanian only. In theory, the advertisement said that guides in English are available, but for groups starting from 3 persons. Since we were only 2, we went with Romanian group. It wasn't a big issue as guide provides minimal information and you can understand from context. The start of the tour was a bit chaotic, but in general the place is worth visiting. Quite cheap compared with what you get.
  • One of the most beautiful caves from Apuseni mountains. The roads and surroundings are not that spectacular.
  • Amazing cave. Best cave in Romania! The most impressive cave I ever visited. Annoying locals trying to sell you stuff
  • This place was worth a little visit. Please be aware that the last entrance is at 5pm and the place is closed quickly afterwards. Guided tours only, which is understandable as they want to preserve it as much as possible. I was disappointed at the amount of coins people had thrown, especially around the bear reconstruction. I think local staff should remove the coins and keep them as tips...
  • Tour guide speaks only Romanian. "No English, no Deutsch!" It was quite funny but rather sad, since the place was rather O.K.
