Villaggio, Doha

(4.1/5 based on 1,300+ reviews on the web)
Like a playground for adults, Villaggio recreates Venice indoors for an unparalleled luxury shopping experience. The mall, with canals running through it, is an Italianate fantasy, with ceilings painted to look like the sky, bridges and lampposts, and international luxury brands and fashion houses occupying its storefronts. The complex also includes a movie theater with IMAX offerings and an indoor theme park containing an Olympic-sized ice rink and a bowling alley. While inside, take a ride in one of the gondolas that transport visitors around the mall and stop for a meal or snack at one of the international chains or Qatari restaurants. • One of the best malls that I have visited. The small "little Venice " inside it gives a great touch and atmosphere to this place. Sure as a mall it has not to provide something different as far as sho...  more »

  • This mall is my favorite malls in Doha. It has everything you can think of and it caters to all ages. They have a great cinema complex, a variety of fast food restaurants and several sit down restaurants (franchised). They have low and medium bugdet shops and if you are looking for the finer things in life and the high end shops there is a whole section for that. When it comes to kids then there is the entertainment section with all kid of rides and games for all ages of kids and adults. I did not give this mall a full mark because of the parking availability. It seems this mall keeps expanding and parking keeps shrinking. I strongly suggest to use taxi or public transportation for ease of in and out of the mall.
  • It is so huge that you still can whizz around easily even when it is very crowded. It sells both high end and mid-range priced products and with good mix of brands and items. Lots of food choices and restaurants, household items and many more. I would have given a perfect score if not for the fact that it is slightly more expensive then in the city. Otherwise, a perfect place to bring your family and friends for whatever reasons. In fact, you don't even need any excuse to go. Just go! You will definitely find something to your liking.
  • If you want a good escape from the heat outside with a glimpse of European or rather Las Vegas architecture, you will like this mall. Shops from value to middle, with a dedicated luxury area. After shopping you can enjoy a good food in one of the many restaurants.
  • Nice spacious mall. Different kinds of boutiques with all the price ranges. I've skating arena. Gondolania amusement park. Numerous restaurants. Carrefour hypermarket inside offering even the "western cousine" products. Huge parking lot. Very crowded during weekends. Undergoing some development, preparing new shops. Building of the metro station creates a bit of discomfort with the parking.
  • Perfect Place To Hang out With Friends And Family. Offers great collection of fast food outlets. Combined with great collections of movies and large number of screens. Activities include bowling , Ice skating, go karting and a bunch of thrill rides. Along with hundreds of fashion/sports outlets for a shopping spree.
