Make a short stop to view State Grand Mosque, the largest mosque in Qatar. Opened in 2011 and named after an 18th-century Muslim scholar and theologian, the mosque boasts a blend of modern and traditional Arab architecture styles. Admire the structure’s gargantuan size, large number of domes, and simple, elegant decorations. Non-muslims can tour the spacious interior when the prayer is not in session, but remember to dress modestly.
