Art Museum Museum
From the impressive collections to the awe-inspiring architecture by I.M. Pei, visitors to Museum of Islamic Art have plenty to look at. The building resembles a pile of boxes inspired by Islamic architecture, surrounded by gardens and paths offering views of the bay and Doha's skyline. The museum's collection includes samples of 1,400 years of jewelry, calligraphy, woodwork, textiles, metalwork, and manuscripts from all over the Islamic world. Within the museum, you'll find a library, gift shop, open prayer rooms, and a restaurant serving French-Mediterranean cuisine. • Go to see I.M.Pei's stunning creation. Like so much of Doha, the architecture is the best part. It's worth the trip even though you'll probably get ripped off by Indian taxi cab drivers who in their s...  more »

  • A great place for family to go on a picnic and let the children enjoy play on the ground. A great scenery of the bay, very relaxing. The children can run around the grass and play. Family will enjoy it.
  • A wonderful experience. Can get to know a lot of history. A beautiful building with a park near the sea with a path way to walk. Awesome experience...!!!
  • Has very nice and green family park.playing Football is allowed in a small area outside the main park.all you need is to go with your own football...if you don't have, engage your friendly skills to land you into a group of some guys playing.I miss the winter times when I used to go Olay.... Strolling inside the park makes you forget you are in a dessert land.I'll enter the museum building and give you a picture of what's there.
  • This place is awsome!! A cool oasis of calm in the searing heat. The exhibits are very well displayed with the layout easy to follow. There is an audio guide that you can rent from the front desk but I never used it. Personally I couldn't do it all in one go as I got to sensory overload after 1 floor. They have a real nice shop with a wide price range of gifts. The cafe is also reasonably priced and the view is fantastic. Luckily it is free admission so you can keep going back.
  • The most spectacular and inspirational place to see art. The exhibitions are housed in the most incredible setting imaginable. Never disappoints at every visit.
