  • Great architectural building, interesting islamic art. Nice for those to understand more of islamic history.
  • Needed something to do on a transit trip, waiting for our flight that night. Our tour guide took us here as the first stop. He gave us a quick run down of the building and museum then we walked around...  more »

  • A must see feature of Qatar. The building itself is magnificent with the design oriented to give vistas toward the "old" and "new" Doha. Displays are mostly well labelled and display the story of both Qatar and Islam. There are often guest displays on exhibit. The park outside often hosts events while those who stroll along the path to the point are awarded with a delightful coffee shop with comfortable outside/waterside seating.
  • What exposed is not exceptional, but the museum architetture is amazing. Very good for 1-2h of relaxing. Free entry
  • Amazing architecture. Great collection and they have a superb library of Islamic history. Great place for photography (without flash if you're taking the exhibits).
  • The architecture is great. The cafe which is inside the museum has stunning view of corniche area and the snacks are a bit pricey. The souvenir shop sells normal gifts with expensive prices which i dont think people would buy.
  • A great place to visit if you're spending a few days in Doha. Admission was free, even for foreigners! The place is full of cool artefacts, great pieces, and tons of history. Definitely the highlight of my Doha visit, other than eating baby camel, that was interesting.
