  • Beautifully situated, the style and design of the building is superb. The installations are carefully chosen to show them at their best. Worth a visit to see the breathtaking number of exhibits.  more »

  • This place is awsome!! A cool oasis of calm in the searing heat. The exhibits are very well displayed with the layout easy to follow. There is an audio guide that you can rent from the front desk but I never used it. Personally I couldn't do it all in one go as I got to sensory overload after 1 floor. They have a real nice shop with a wide price range of gifts. The cafe is also reasonably priced and the view is fantastic. Luckily it is free admission so you can keep going back.
  • The building architecture and interior is great by itself. The permanent collection also has a lot of interesting pieces, my favourite was the jewlery section but also some of the ceramics and geometric wood works were nice too. One can happily spend a good 2 to 3 hours between the collection and walking around the museum
  • Must see for visitors and local residents. The building and property itself is a work of art that is geometricslly appealing to the eye. This beautiful exhibit displays a wide variety of one of a kind exhibits that proudly displays Islamic heritage. The museum offers a stunning view of the Doha skyline and blue bay. There is a quaint cafe, perfect for a relaxing break during your stroll through the various exhibits.
  • Great walking around and good coffee in a unique building. The art is okay. Not one of my personally favorite collections. Definitely worth a stop if you're in Doha.
  • Some good permanent exhibitions (if a little on the small side) and regularly changed temporary exhibitions. Well stocked library with plenty of art related books.
