Tanama River Adventures, Utuado

We did the cave tubing tour. The trip through the mountains to get to the river was beautiful. The hike down to the river and up from the river is strenuous. It is worth it though. The river and the pools are secluded and peaceful. Our tour guide did not rush us and let us enjoy the peace and tranquility.

Awesome trip. It is definitely a good hike. All terrain shoes a must. Waterproof bag for phone and snacks and water a must. You will be wearing a hard hat and a life vest the entire time. Just FYI. You should be fair shape physically.

We did the hike with tubing and the experience was worth all the hard work. I would rate it as a difficult hike but safe. The guides were amazing, very warm and friendly, and always checking to make sure you’re okay. Overall I’m glad we did the hike and that we chose this company.

My wife and I really enjoyed cave tubing with our Guide Mariel. She was very friendly and not only provided us with a great experience but she also answered all of my questions about the local birds and plants. Once the trip was over she provided us with recommendations of things to do and places to eat. I would highly recommend this trip and our only regret was that we were unable to book the longer tour!

Absolutely amazing! Our guide was above and beyond great. He talked about the island and local vegetation the entire time. So knowledgeable and funny. He truly was the perfect guide. I'm writing this review a month later and cannot remember his name. The excursion itself was spectacular. Our family got a personal tour. Unplanned but it made it that much better. Getting to the river/cave was easy and everything was so beautiful. I wish it lasted longer. Trust me, you won't want to leave. Now, the hike back up. Geeze louis I thought I would die lol. My son and his girlfriend had no trouble. The husband and I, we are out of shape. So be prepared, what goes down must come back up. You've been warned 🤣 Do not skip out on this adventure. It was our favorite part of the trip. Tranquil and serene. An absolute must do!
