  • Drove over here to check out the fort, turns out only locals can get in. It says $5 entry fee but the guard wouldn’t let anyone in. He was mean and threatening. We turned around and left  more »

  • Best beach, beautiful palm trees however once again located in a very shady, high crime area. Go during the day, make sure there are policemen close by and leave by 2pm. After 2pm drunkards take over.
  • Wonderful views of San Juan, tons of beach and small pools of water great for small children and adults to enjoy, easy to get to and safer than most beaches because the police shooting range is a short distance away. Highly recommended!
  • Isla de Cabras: Great area with some calmed beaches, lot of palm trees and rest area. Located at Cataño, counts with good parking, great place for kids and family union. You will enjoy seen some invasive iguanas, local pelicans and great view to Old San Juan area and El Morro Fort. Also lot of gazebos for family gathering.
  • It’s a great place to go with your family. Safe and clean
  • Really nice little park. It’s been hit pretty hard by the hurricanes which observatory decks out of commission and some rental pavilions destroyed but it’s a quick little walk and has a cool piece of history. The little fort was closed so we couldn’t go in but it was cool to see it and learn it’s place in San Juan history. We went here and down the Isla de Cabras because our tour of the Bacardi factory wasn’t for 2 hours. Saw the fishing huts down past the police station on the island. Overall it was a lovely afternoon mini hike.
