Paseo de la Princesa, San Juan

(1,000+ reviews on the web)
Historic Walking Area Landmark
Take a relaxing stroll along the beautiful Paseo de la Princesa, the city's ocean-front promenade. Stop and peruse the wares of artisan vendors and try some of the foods available. Observe the wonderful architecture, palm-lined walkways, and sculpted fountains. In the evenings, local musicians come out to play for dancing revelers. If you head out in the midday sun, bring a lot of water and a sun hat, as promenade offers little in the way of shade. • Princesa Fountain is a great place to see, also a nice place to anchor in a boat. The fountain is directly below Fortaleza so there are great views all around. Also a great place to start a walk along the waterfront towards El Morro.
  • This is more then awesome with more then 4 century's of history and traditional area for visitors. A place you need to visit at San Juan Puerto Rico.
  • Great for tourism. Basically great part of the Puerto Rico's history is here.
  • Nice plaza at the beginning of the old city walls. Relaxed atmosphere.
  • Great historic landmark. Excellent to chill, read a book a quick jog or smoke a good habano
