  • Okay, right from the heart: "City Fathers, fire the Marketing Director for this park!" My god it only costs $2 per car and apparently nothing for walk-ons like me and on the day of my visit there was ...  more »

  • Others have written about the swimming, running and tennis facilities at Parque Central. But there is also a recycling drop-off spot for plastic (numbers 1 and 2; no plastic bags) and paper here. This might not seem like a big deal, but if you don't have curb-side recycling pick-up in your neighborhood (or doubt that the items in the recycling bins are actually getting recycled instead of tossed into the trash truck) there aren't many options in the San Juan area to drop off recycling. In fact, this was the only one that I could find. In order to locate it, turn right after your enter the park and take the left road at the fork, towards the restaurant. The green bins will be right in front of you. I've posted pictures. Note that there is no glass or aluminum recycling here. For that, you'll need to go to Reciclaje del Norte (also on Google Maps)
  • A "pocket" of nature within the city limits of San Juan. A good place to practice your photography skills. In front of the Escambron Beach.
  • Great place for exercising. Very safe and you can do anything for your exercise routine on this facilities.
  • Great place to exercise! Well maintained, clean and good environment to meet people.
  • Excellent facilities, lots to do and great place for the family.
