  • It travels to the past and enjoy the transformation of one of the buildings of the Municipal Hospital to become the Museum of art of Puerto Rico. The Museum, located in old San Juan, was established to preserve the history of the capital of Puerto Rico and the cultural contribution of its residents. It features local artists.

  • Great museum highlighting art from across the island. Plus, at only $3 for students, it's criminal not to go. The biggest attracting though has to be the sculpture garden. Meandering and spacious, it's a lot of fun.
  • Sierra, our guide, was friendly, funny, bilingual and very knowledgeable about the history of P.R., the artists, and the stories behind the artwork. My family and I had a great time. ($6.69 admission for adults and $3 for children, seniors, and students with ID).I left the museum feeling inspired! Definitely coming back!
  • Great museum, housed in an old hospital, the museum offers innovating exhibitions, with an extensive education program. Great staff. Relaxing garden.
  • Very nice museum with intriguing art. There were people always available to tell us more about the artist for each work, including history and inspiration behind the work. I just wish I was allowed to take photos since I love art. Price of admission (I think $6 for adults) was well worth it.
  • Beautiful and inspiring collection!
