  • Only the main floor was open when we visited, but it was still a good collection inside the permanent exhibits. There was a mixture of historic and contemporary pieces and good interpretative information in both Spanish and English. The real highlight for us was the sculpture garden that was full of many interesting plants (and quite a few large, entertaining iguanas) in addition to the art itself.
  • Small but interesting collection. I actually prefer smaller museums that aren't so overwhelming. We happened to go in a Saturday, and it was free admission! Family day. Guided tours available.
  • The staff was very friendly and helpful. The museum is on the smaller side, but it's a great way to spend a couple hours. The gardens on property are beautiful. We spent an hour sitting by the kio pond.
  • The guide in the childrens area was EXTREMELY rude, she literally followed our children around the entire visit not to offer information, but to "correct" their behavior. Even when we went outside she told us to "keep our children close and watch them". Then she proceeded to talk about us to the security guard in spanish, as if we do not understand it. She definitely needs to be spoken to. I won't reveal her name online, but if someone from the museum contacts me I gladly will.
  • Performing Arts Center. A very nice place. Good architecture, nice ambiance and in the center of the Metro area of San Juan. Unfortunately, 95% of all oral performances are in Spanish.
