Take an in-depth tour of Casa Bacardi, one of the world's most prolific rum distilleries. Affectionately called the "Cathedral of Rum," this facility boasts a six-level distillation tower and uses state-of-the-art technology to produce over 20 million cases each year. A comprehensive tour of the distillery begins with a welcome drink and traces the rum-producing history of Puerto Rico. Learn about the company's founding and move from Cuba in the 1930s, hear the secrets behind famed Bacardi cocktails, and view the production and fermentation process at the bottling plant. Wrap up your visit at the gift shop, where you can browse different types of rum and pick up a few souvenirs to take back home. • We signed up for the historical tour. It was very cool. It took less than an hour. I was kind of disappointed that we never got in the distillery itself to see production. It was more like a contrived...  more »
  • An ok tour, not great, but if you love bacardi you'll appreciate it so much more. The gift shop is cool and you can buy some bacardi that's not sold anywhere else but there.  more »
  • Very nice tour guide and seemed knowledgeable but we were lucky if we understood 50% of what she was saying due to her heavy accent. The short video that they showed should have been R rated as it jus...  more »

  • This was a lot of fun! Don't be scared off by the prices, definitely worth it. We did the tasting. You get 5 different rums and learn about each of them. Also you get a mixed drink (included) of your choose while waiting for the tour to start. Staff is very friendly, and before you start the tasting they offer to call a taxi for you if needed for when you are finished. Good to know they want people to be responsible
  • Best. Tour. Ever. Felix our tour guide was awesome in give us the history of Bacardi. He then helped guide us during our tasting of the sipping rums offered at Bacardi. The most amazing part of this tour for me was when I was able to bottle my own bottle of rum complete with engraved bottle. The rum that I bottled is only available at the Bacardi Distillery. Truly a unique bottle of rum that is all mine; very limited and very rare.
  • Casa Bacardi “Worth a Visit” My son wanted to visit when we were in Puerto Rico so this was his idea. This is a very good trip to learn the history of how Bacardi became one of the top Rums in the world and how the empire was formed and it evolved over the years. One of my questions is why they chose a bat for it's trademark, we got the answer after watching one of the videos that is presented on the tour (you will have to go on the tour for the answer). Plan on spending about an hour from start to finish on the "Historical Tour". Visited March 2016
  • We have been here February 2016 upon a bicycle round trip at Puerto Rico. A wonderful Island. A wonderful tout throughout the Bacardi distillery. Good tasting Friendly staff.
  • They have 3 different tours now, with different prices. The historical tours $15, and the Rum Tasting Tour and Mixology Tour is $45. It come with a cocktail drink for adults and refreshment for those under 18. I am not a rum enthusiast but I really did enjoy the historical tour. It show us the history of Casa Bacardi and a little bit of history of Cuba and Puerto Rico wish I really enjoyed. Would definitely go again.
