  • When you go to this place, do yourself a favor and bring snorkeling gear. It's the best part of this place. See if you can find the sunken boat in the middle of the corals and seaweed. Lots of fishes ...  more »
  • Stopped here after an afternoon in Old San Juan. Very cool little area with a roped off swimming area. Good spot for kids! Also has a bathroom and a few amazing views for pics!  more »
  • The parking is $5 but the beach is nice and surrounded by parkland with some interesting sites within such as the Supreme Tribunal of PR. It also not that far from Old San Juan with sites along the wa...  more »

  • Beautiful, clean and peaceful. Nice walk way to beach. $5 all day parking. Restrooms and showers available. Sand and water in pristine conditions. Plenty of shaded areas under trees. Plenty of people grilling, the aromas were amazing!
  • This is a beautiful beach. When we went, the water was clear and the weather was great. The swimming was great where we were, and there weren't really any major waves. The view is wonderful, with Old San Juan in sight. The beach itself was fairly well maintained, although as other commenters have mentioned there were some bottle caps/plastic throughout the beach. There are bathrooms available, as well as lifeguards. There was a vendor selling water ice for $2. Parking is $5 for the day, which is fine.
  • Beautiful public beach, ample parking for $5, no food available as the restaurant is under renovation. Bathroom is clean but closes at 530pm. Good swimming for kids, lots of shade. Lovely views of Old San Juan, walking distance to some food like el hamburguera.
  • Nice little public beach. Plenty of shade under the palm trees. There are lifeguard post with actual guard's in them. Theres a nice walkway near by.
  • There are actually two beaches here: one that is protected by an atoll, and an adjacent beach that is open to the ocean. The beach with the atoll is sandy with rocks under the water, while tho open beach is smooth and sandy. The beach is lined with palm trees for good shade. Views of the Fort and old San Juan can be had from the west side. Parking is $5 at the lot all day. The beach is popular, so don't expect pristine sand; bottle caps and other small pieces of litter can be occasionally be found away from the water. There are bathrooms available. Saw some surfers there, but the swell looked to be far from shore.
