Mosquito Pier, Isla de Vieques
Categories: Piers & Boardwalks, Tourist Spots
From the end of Mosquito Pier look back to stunning views of Viques and the Puerto Rican mainland. Built in 1941, the pier stretches out a mile off the coast, with deep tan, golden sand beaches and vibrant blue waters flanking each side. Snorkel with sea turtles, who often appear in the waters underneath and around the pier. Take a relaxing turn along the pier, then pop your scuba gear on and enjoy the excellent snorkelling conditions. Plan your Mosquito Pier visit and explore what else you can see and do in Isla de Vieques using our Isla de Vieques trip builder.

Went snorkeling here and saw a ton of fished near the tip of the pier. Also saw a sea turtle! It was an awesome experience.
