  • We decided to make a family activity and chose to wind cave. When seek information of the place the Group continued growing until get almost to the 15 members. Among them children 5 years, pre teen, teenagers up to my in-laws. Get to the forest... Well there is several routes. A GPS helps, but in our way we find the Guajataca Lake, which is spectacular by surprise and then forest. The place has several watchtowers with a beautiful landscape and of course the roads properly labeled. You are looking for the "Cave of the wind" this close to the Rangers Office. Well labeled with the distance we started the travel of approximately 50 min by a beautiful place. Once at the entrance of the cave the expectation that we would find inside dominated everyone. Access this through a staircase and interior is black as night. A few good flashlights and water is recommended to take. Of course do not leave your camera. The interior of the cave is impressive. A time inside will have traveled to the center of the Earth.
