  • We stayed at the Copamarina resort, and just drove down the end of the road (333) and walked the Meseta trail from there. I didn't see much for signage, but based on what others wrote on Alltrails...

  • We did not get to explore much because of our time crunch, but we had a nice hike here and got to see a lot of flora and fauna not present elsewhere on the island. Will definitely be back. Got some...

  • Very quiet and secluded; the drive will be difficult if you have a wide vehicle (but the road was in good shape in April 2022.) Bathrooms were clean, but limited services otherwise. Park ranger was there at 830am on a Tuesday; make sure to visit with them before setting out. Bring tons of water and enjoy the views!
  • If you like to express explore. This is the only dry forest available in Puerto Rico. The diversity of the flora and fauna if this park makes it a must to visit if you are a botanist student, biologist, or if you enjoy walking and exploring. Please drink plenty of water when visiting it's a dry forest.
  • A friend and I went to tour one of the trails on bikes and it was great, also visited the 700 + years guayacan tree.
  • Excellent relatively easy short hike options. El Vegia trail is the one, if you must choose.
  • Its a great place to visit but if you want to walk for more than 30 minutes you need water to hidrate.
