Carlos Rosario Beach, Culebra

4.5
#4 of 6 in Beaches in Culebra
Beach Nature / Park
Escape the crowds of other nearby beaches with a visit to Carlos Rosario Beach, a remote area with excellent opportunities for snorkeling. You'll immediately notice the colorful barrier reef that surrounds the shore seemingly on all sides; head south of the beach along the cliffs for truly spectacular snorkeling with biodiverse marine life. Do exercise caution, since water taxis and powerboats use the channel adjacent to the shore. If snorkeling isn't for you, take advantage of the secluded nature of this beach to tuck into a book with a refreshing drink. Work out when and for how long to visit Carlos Rosario Beach and other Culebra attractions using our handy Culebra tour planner.

  • We did 3 days of snorkeling on this reef and was amazed on each day. The reef was dense and had so many different types of coral growing next to each other. Culebra is a snorkeling Mecca.  more »
