Vilamoura Old Course, Vilamoura
(4.1/5 based on 300+ reviews on the web)
Play a game of golf at the second-oldest course in Algarve, Vilamoura Old Course. This course has become well-known throughout the golfing world since it was built in 1969. Originally designed in an English style to take advantage of the area's natural terrain, it has been renovated since. You can expect the holes to become increasingly difficult as you move through the historical course. While here, take advantage of the renovated clubhouse, golf shop, putting green, driving range, valet service, bar, and restaurant. By using our Vilamoura itinerary builder, you can arrange your visit to Vilamoura Old Course and other attractions in Vilamoura.

  • Our third time on the old course , the best one in this group . Course very good but public areas around clubhouse and first tee looking tired , needs some TLC Back next year

  • Don't get me wrong, this is a nice course - but in no way, it lives up to either the expectations created by the name, the marketing, nor to the hefty price tag. There was a group of three Scottish lads in front of us, and while they were waiting on one of the tees, you could hear one say "There's absolutely no variation in the holes" - and that sums it up perfectly... So for that money, rather play the Victora Course, or the Faldo Course in the Amendoira resort. Or play the Vila Sol course also just around the corner in Vilamoura, for a very similar look & feel, but more variation, also with a water hazard here and there..
  • Great course
  • Course is tight greens are fast would play there again
  • Best course in the world
