  • Small Zoo, nothing to do with Beauval or La Palmyre, enclosures are small, few animals. Ability to see Groundhogs in freedom and to approach them in a little more detail. several restore points but frankly prefer to bring your picnic in this area with games for children. Frankly not good food at the restaurant at the entrance and in addition I found it expensive (2 sandwiches + 4 pies types quiches + 4 drinks = €45). It goes 1/2 days with the children, it is not negligible when you know that it is difficult to occupy children on Porto

  • There's a really big variety of animals, places to rest, cafe, restaurant, eating areas, big lakes and much comfort, an adventure I recommend  more »
  • Nice Zoo, where the Lions the main attraction. You can in a tunnel under the beasts by walk. Along the way there are refreshments for sale. Nicely laid out and it was not too busy.

  • Nice zoo. It was very quiet when we were there. The view at the Savannah bar is beautiful. The zookeepers/caretakers were very friendly and tried their best to answer our questions in English. Good for half a day, then you've seen everything.
  • The big advantage is free shuttle service from/to Porto. Zoo is very small, because of the high temperature animals were hidden in shadow places. Most time it we fill that we play hide-find me game. Big attractive for local children are presentations of flying raptors, but we don't know Portuguese, so the show was limited to watching.
  • In my opinion this zoo is only good if you've never seen an animal before. I hated this zoo because it looks terrible. They claim that their main attraction is the "glass tunnel" but it's so dirty that your photos will look like fog. Besides that, there were 2-3 animals per species and hidden because of the sun. The habitats aren't similar to real ones. For example, I saw deers with a camel habitat that means no grass at all. Not recommended for the price(14.50€). Anyway, staff was so good and they gave me a full refund
  • Had great time with my family. Clean friendly many animals to see all in very nice enclosures.
  • A very nice zoo near Porto, in a very calm area. All animals look relaxed and are well taken care of
