  • On the occasion of our repeated holidays in the beautiful city of Porto, we have come to appreciate in particular the visit of this Portuguese wine which, unlike the others, is not limited to the usual tour of the cellars and taste the final product, but offers the opportunity to discover the villa in the old owner, yet beautifully furnished with period furniture, with explanation full of details about the history of the city and the development of commercial relations with particular reference to the wine sector. The price for the visit and tasting of the port is quite low and the Ramos Pinto House staff is professional and very courteous.

  • Definitely worth doing the museum and Port tasting. Generous tasting at the end of the tour and great guide. Recommended to everyone visiting Porto who likes wine!  more »
  • I chose this cava because I spoke of the Museum and the history of its owner Adriano, and I think it was a wise decision. Tour lasts little more than half an hour, when touring the cellars, lounges and know the history of port wine. Two wine tasting at the end. To my liked it, especially the information that gives the guidance and care are good.

  • We came here as part of the port wine tour. Theirs were quite sweet compared to others, but we much preferred it. We ended up buying two bottles (white and ruby). The tour guide was quite enthusiastic and humorous as well. Very recommended :D
  • Huge and more famous of the port wineries. Close to the river, you are near all he street attractions, making this a popular tourist spot. Big serving room, I recommend to beat the crowd attempt your visit just prior to closing time.
  • I’ve tried quite some port (even the snooty portologia place across the river) from the various brands and I still come back to Ramos Pinto. As a tawny fan, their 20 year is the best. Coming here was great. Lovely staff, nice comfy tasting area, reasonable prices. You can even do port and chocolate tasting.
  • We went on the tour which was fascinating thanks to the depth of knowledge of Bruno who took us through the cellars and answered all of our questions throughly!
  • Enjoyed touring the cellier with all the barrels. I did the tour with Porto Walkers.
