  • Although the entry costs only €1 they are not more than a few panels of the heritage of the North of Portugal, a video and a cloister which looks more beautiful in photos than it actually is. Yes it is worth climbing up there for the views, but without going.

  • The views of the monastery lit at night are more spectacular than visit the monastery itself

  • I organized this tour for two groups of people. The guides were completely different but both groups were satisfied with the degree of knowledge and availability. With one of the groups it was possible to climb to the dome, which also was well worth it! The tour cost 1,50€/pessoa and I have no doubt that it was well worth it!

  • Great place to visit on the south bank of the river, just across the D Luis Bridge. It very nice place with high views over Gaia that really worth going there, by foot or by telepheric from Cais de Gaia
  • One of the best places to see the great city of Porto. Is located in Gaia, near the D. Luis bridge, so you must stop by before/after crossing the bridge. You have lot´s of room to take great photos and just chill looking at the sights. On a good weather day you can see as far as the sea!
  • Probably, one of the best place with amazing view at the city and the D. Luis bridge. And the architecture is very interesting itself, especially at night with all the lights.
  • View is amazing and unlike any other. However, don't bother paying to go inside, as it is mainly closed with little not being used by the active military now.
  • The view from here is amazing and the cool breeze makes it very comfortable to just relax there. I wasn't actually inside the monetary, but I have heard great things.
