  • The Chapel is tiny but very beautiful and very well preserved. Is very well integrated into the surrounding landscape. The views and the sense of peace that you have to visit the place are very rewarding. If possible it is best to visit with few people because the feeling is completely different, for the better.

  • Worth the money to rent a car and go see this gem is unique in the world. Certainly ideal go out of season and maybe on a cloudy day as it is in an otherwise very frequented beach. I was just today, in February and on a cloudy day and very windy, it was just us. I found it poetic and evocative, burst by wind and waves, out of this immense Beach and desert: a unique image.

  • A beautiful church/chapel at sea involved in the rocks ... it has some lovely views of the sea. Recommend a visit! Makes it unique and special beach.

  • Beautiful place, when the tide is high the chapel gets surrounded by water. It's worth to do the walk from Gaia along the beach
  • This place is magical. There are rock vehind the church to sit on. Beautiful wonderful place.
  • One of the best sights of Portugal
  • Fantastic part of the coast! Beautifully maintained chapel, clean but coarse sand, and cooling Atlantic breakers. Hot July day but beach had plenty of space, well worth a visit!
  • Not worth a trip.
