  • When we arrived it was closed to the public, but as they waited for a bus they allowed us to enter. We attended an old man, and was very friendly. Between little Spanish and Portuguese little we learned quite well of as it is cultivated, and talked of things of the island. Very enjoyable. Then led us to the winery and gave us to try their wines, various types. We had two bottles. Good place. It is free of charge.

  • Informative museum, very appealing demonstration gardens. Wine tasting (fairly expensive) of the products of this famous vineyard.  more »

  • Very pretty and traditional place to visit.
  • Have a great sweet wine
  • It is a private museum created by a family with the intention of preserving part of the history of the island. The woman who makes the visits was very friendly with us and we spent all the time which was quite enough. At the end of the visit you can enter in the winery to taste the wines and buy a bottle. Highly recommended.

  • Picturesque Museum, the very friendly and talkative guide only in Portuguese, knows nothing of Spanish.
