  • Just adore this place at this time of year. Plenty of room to find your own private spot and great to get a coffee after the pleasant walk to the beach.
  • The beach access is done on foot (15-20 min) or in a small tourist train (1,20€/travel). The landscape is beautiful, the beach has a beach extended as far as the eye can see. I didn't do the beach because I visited in early March. The beach was almost empty which allowed landscapes even more pleasant. I felt like I was in a paradisiacal destinations. The Museum restaurant fit perfectly. Were old fishing houses. Made me remember a Alentejo by the beach. Restaurant prices are within normal range for a seaside restaurant. It is ideal for a romantic/family out of the bathing season. A very well-done.

  • Reached the beach via the little train, free to us as we were staying at Pedras del Rei. A few restaurants/cafes and shops, very expensive but they have a captive audience. Beach very clean, sun beds ...  read more »
  • Praia extensa e agradável. O comboio turístico é engraçado, mas o percurso a pé também é muito bom para observar a paisagem envolvente.
  • Didn't spend much time here but the landscape is amazing! The shrubbery is very wild and is actually untouched, it smells amazing walking through the marshy greenlands down to the beach. Unlike some beaches it is completely clean, no bottles or rubbish at all, though I waa only on one section of the beach. Its location is a little out of the way and I only visited by chance but if you are in this region its a must see.
  • Just very nice and beautiful

  • We go there every year for 12 years now... Just awesomeness! Access to the beach is not straightforward since there is a small market of one kilometre for the bravest. L ' alternative being a little coal train which makes the joy of children... Chu, tchouuuuuuh! . The beach is beautiful, very beautiful: the sand is fine, the beach is clean... To be really quiet, just get away from a few small meters from the monitored area... The sea is rather quiet and very blue... But let us not forget that it is always the Atlantic, we sometimes also had rough seas... This is not bad either... On-site catering offer is valuable and for all styles: cafeteria, burgers, or restaurant to the attentive service... The restaurant area is located in a frame that I find a great typicity: it's an old renovated Tonnerie: walls white, bougainvillea and palm trees... A small corner of paradise on the Algarvia coast...
