  • After visiting tavira praia do barril is not far and must be seen. You can before you go you stop in santa luzia, cute little fishing village. For praia do barril, a paying car park just next door but can park a little further for free. To reach praia do barril, 2 means, take the train, we opted for the market because more pleasant to stop you like and see the birds or another along the way. Once there, you will find restaurants, shops, wc. Then the huge, pretty Beach and the famous cemetery of anchors, just a pity that there is no explanatory panel on these anchors...

  • Access is a bit difficult ... but only by the distance you have to walk the walk. There's also the option of a train, which goes very slowly, but that's still an attraction. Well worth spend good hours on this beach.

  • Praia extensa e agradável. O comboio turístico é engraçado, mas o percurso a pé também é muito bom para observar a paisagem envolvente.
  • Didn't spend much time here but the landscape is amazing! The shrubbery is very wild and is actually untouched, it smells amazing walking through the marshy greenlands down to the beach. Unlike some beaches it is completely clean, no bottles or rubbish at all, though I waa only on one section of the beach. Its location is a little out of the way and I only visited by chance but if you are in this region its a must see.
  • One of my favorite beaches. Enjoy an experience of this beautiful and quiet beach. You have to cross a narrow bridge to reach a kind of stop of a tourist train that will take you to the beach. If you prefer to opt for non-payment can make the journey on foot, will take you about 10/15 minutes, depends on that you are charged. I recommend the trip by train, at least for the first leg, because it is worth. When you arrive you are with some areas of small shops, restaurants and an area of public baths which have up to showers. The spectacular beach. Clean, with big waves and warm water. Nothing jam-packed with people. Moreover, if you want to have the beach for you, just leave a little bit more than the entrance and ready.
