  • It is a nice beach for families. It is many kilometers long, facing South. Access via a little train, children will love that. One can also walk the kilometer-long path from parking to the beach.  more »
  • We went there at one of the warm and sunny days recently. The empty, clean, endless beach is soooo inviting for a long walk. Just the right thing to do when social distancing is important and you...  more »
  • What fun that little train! Excellent beach and plenty restaurants. Walking path to the beach also available. It takes a 15-20 minutes walk starting at the little trainstation to the beach.  more »
  • Easy to park in the morning, arrived around 10am and there was PLENTY of space for cars. We caught the 10 minute train to the beach, sweet little slow train for about 3euro return. The beach is very long so there are no large crowds once you get onto the sand. The sea was warm, clear water, just windy the day we went. Lovely 5 hours of sun bathing, restaurant and shops at the beach, toilets too. All in all very good and a LOT quieter than other tourist beaches.
  • Great beach, accessible by train or by foot. It is not far to walk. Umbrella is a good idea since there is no shade. Water is warm and waves are not dangerous. In tbe3 evening when there is no wind it gets infested by like a million mosquitoes...
  • Nice beach! You get there by car, you have to park in a paid parking then you walk to the little train that takes you to the beach resort. Restaurants and boutiques are available once there. The restaurants are a little expensive and the boutiques cute for local but out of price for sun screen... Don't forget yours 😂
  • Excellent beach. A little train or a walk from the car park (pay for parking and again for the train). Lovely sand, waves not too windy. Great wildlife to spot on the mudflats.
  • Not too crowded, great for those who like quiet beaches. The little train trip across the beautiful "Ria Formosa" is a great introduction to the small beach, mostly frequented by the local area visitors and inhabitants.
