  • Beautiful gardens, peaceful out of season. Good views from the battlements. Tavira is a wonderful place, take your time to wander through the streets and alleyways and you will discover such lovely things ❤
  • Nice little castle. Free entrance flowers were all in bloom and it smelled wonderful. Stairs up the walls are steep and there is one place with no railing so be careful with little ones.
  • Good food but slow service, only one waiter to handle a huge crowd. This appeared to be a Mom and Pop operation. Pop just stood around and cleared tables while Momma did the cooking . The waiter was rushed of his feet. The was a great selection of food but placing and receiving the order was a bit of a challenge. We had the Salchipapa which is sausage chips and cheese. The chips were not fried but oven cooked potatoes which were heavenly tasty with the cheese on top of them. Other diners looked like they were having amazing food and this is a great place if you don’t mind waiting a long time
  • Nice view over the city, however you can't spend that much time out there. It has a nice garden that was well maintained.
  • A pleasant place to spend an hour. Climb the battlements for great views of the Town, River and Salt pans. Visit the church its a very calming place to see.
