  • I rated it as very good, mostly because we have no better one in Portugal. If compared with others all over the world, it is just average. TAP, the Portuguese airline is very well represented there, with a permanent exhibition. Everything from seats to uniforms is on display. To me the highlight is the DC3, that before belonging to TAP, had a very interesting past, including participating on d-day, dropping to-troopers over Normandy. It's interior is now restored, all thanks to volunteers. Several military aircraft to be mismanaged are on display, and mush is told about the colonial war fought in Africa. The admission price is very cheap. Some pieces can only be visited inside with the presence of a military person, and that is very annoying. The museum clearly is short on staff.
