  • Upon arriving at the Seixal coming from Saint Vincent revel with the Veil of the bride, a mad one day of sea hit and sure to go down da Ribeira (has a good kebab restaurant and trout and Ribeira da Janela, (where): you can climb the stairs of the window that faces the sea with the fabulous Islets of the Rib in front and b) climb up to the window-taken from 25 km but do have 20 twenty minutes each way to empower the excellence of the ride).

  • Stopped off to see the waterfall. Nice enough view of the ocean and waterfall. Some nice little villages further along the coast to stop at.  more »
  • A pretty waterfall which can only be seen from a vantage point. Pretty enough sight but probably overrated.  more »

  • Need to stop, just on the right of the road, when you go to Porto Moniz. Spectacular view on waterfall (directly in the sea), north coast of island and terraces.
  • Very nice! Attention to the flow expected, most beautiful in rainy season. Looks a bit far there beside souvenir shop. In summer, it should be difficult to park.

  • Be sure to stop. Looks on the street not so spectacularly out of but at the viewpoint itself really fantastic.
