  • The new heaven and less new ground floor zinc train travel leads us to know the history of some of the most important domestic manufacturers of toys to the confrontation between the Portuguese and foreign toy. Don't break up the ground floor without looking carefully for the review of almost two hundred Portuguese manufacturers which invite you to climb to the first floor. The narrative of the exhibition is complete on the top floor where are exposed many of the pieces from the collection, following a chronological order, decade decade, framed by the formal and technical changes and associated with the socio-political transformations in the world, whose impact was felt at the national level. The rocks and the flutes of tinplate, the buckets of beach in madeira with colorful motifs, the dolls of pulp, the cannons, the pickup trucks, boats, trains, tricycles, pedal cars, traveling the world of plastics, apogee of Portuguese, to the toy Smurfs in pvc, everything was done in Portugal. The contexts are several and they help us understand the way Portuguese toy throughout the ages.
