  • The archaeological site of Ammaia is still with his excavations as well, but it demonstrates a fledgling rich buried treasure. At its entrance there is a small museum with numerous Roman pieces, found in the tombs as jewelry, ceramics, tools and ... blown glass. It was a surprise to me to know that in the 21st century. I of the Christian era the Romans already blew glass and delicate items such as we have today. The part already excavated shows one of the gates of the city of Ammaia it was the outpost of the Romans on the Iberian Peninsula, which had its headquarters in Mérida, Spain. At the entrance to the Museum, at the time, is a bronze scale model of the city completely and it's amazing that in the 21st century. I had a town with 2,000 inhabitants in place. Worth knowing!
