  • The Pico da Vara, highest point on the island of São Miguel (1103 m), allows a magnificent view on your round, a fantastic landscape. The pedestrian circuit of some difficulty, is very interesting.

  • Really liked this track on San Miguel. It is very diverse, the trail goes through the woods with lots of birds and over hills, overgrown bushes, just crosses several creeks. Some made fortified step, because the Track climbs steeply up. Stunning, I'm not cherished photograph. The weather was not very lucky it was cloudy, but without rain. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes. Recommend for tourists of any age, you can simply go slowly.
