  • Beautiful strong and with the beautiful surroundings (near of Passeio Alegre). One of the most beautiful views of the port. It's worth it.

  • Fortress whose construction was started in 16 century to defend the mouth of the river and Have, accordingly, and the Port City by the sea. The fortress was significantly reconstructed during the war for independence from Portugal. Now here is the Instituto de Defesa Nacional, but part of the fortress is available for review.

  • Não tem nada de especial. Muito da estrutura da para perceber que foi soterrada e várias partes da muralha foram simplesmente tapadas (desfiguradas) com cimento.
