Palacio da Bolsa, Porto
(4.2/5 based on 2,600+ reviews on the web)
Tour Palacio da Bolsa, a 19th-century stock-market palace, and walk through the lavish rooms of the assembly and tribunal. Built by the Commercial Association in 1850, the building was improved upon and decorated until 1910. See the courtyard room, filled with arched doorways and covered by a large octagonal metallic and glass dome. You can explore quaint chambers that host allegorical paintings, rustic furniture, sculptures, and antique objects. Visit the most lavish room at the site, the Moorish Revival-styled reception hall, which once welcomed important personalities and leaders. • We were only one day for the Center and this was the only visit paying that we did. A success. Inside this building is beautiful and worth. You must book to enter a specific time and there is capacity limited to each group. The price for an adult is €8 I think. Located in the center of everything the tourist is a good starting point. There is free WIFI in the interior of the building.

  • It may not be the best-known monuments of Oporto, but the truth is that it is worth visiting it. It is best to make reservations beforehand but we do not reserve in advance. Make a guided tour in several languages, they made us a joint English - Spanish. It lasts 45 minutes and there are several times each day. The building on the outside is not as spectacular as it is on the inside, above all Arab, which is really impressive room.

  • Visit 30 or 40 minutes with a guide in french. This Palace is the glory of the rich historical merchants of Porto. Apreciate the Court, the office of Eiffel, the Arab lounge room to the beautiful Moorish design.

  • An amazing place. All rooms have different attractions. You can join a tour to see the Bolsa Palace. Tour takes around 40 mins yet it is not very informative. The structure of the tour is also problematic, you have one guide who speaks both portugese and english. Might be more interesting and seperated according to languages.
  • the mandatory guided visits are interesting. they are always in portuguese followed by another language - english, french or spanish. mine took around 35 minutes. i'd say that between the visited rooms and spaces only half of them are really impressive (mostly the main court and the arabic room).
  • Built in the 19th century in Neoclassical style by the Local trade association and not by a king. Pros: The Moorish Revival Arab Room. Cons: Lots and lots of crowds.
  • The Palácio da Bolsa is a historical building in Porto, Portugal. The palace was built in the 19th century by the city's Commercial Association. The moorish room is worth a visit.
  • The Arab room is a unique place that makes this worth it...although there is a lot more to be seen on an previous Porto stock exchange building. Mandatory to visit
