  • I visited this museum by myself in August 2016 as my wife, two children and relatives were not interested. The Museu Nacional de Soares dos Reis is best reached by taxi as it is a bit further from the...  more »
  • Free visit for being the 1° Sunday of the month. Nice area with lots of light, small but sunny garden, shop and cafeteria. Has lift which makes it easy to visit children in stroller that is our case. Despite being modest permanent collection is very well achieved, is very interesting and cohesive and the visit proved to be fruitful and we were willing to return. We saw the exhibition dedicated to Amadeo de Souza Cardoso-fabulous and even a small sample of Paula Rego. Worth the visit because the Museum is well located, has good access and a parking lot in front (to pay).

  • A good Museum. It makes sense to visit if you are in for quite some time and have already visited the Port all wineries.

  • Magnificent permanent collection, with strong ties to the city's history. Outdoor gardens although great, could be better well kept.
  • Great temporary expo of Amadeo Souza Cardoso work. Nice garden.
  • €5 it cost, I thought it was very reasonable. Me and my girlfriend really enjoyed it and the price came with two exhibitions aswell.
  • Good medium sized museum with beautiful paintings and craft works. There needs to be more emphasis on having information translated to English for foreign visitors.
  • A good small sized museum. Has As the masterpieces of Soares dos Reis. Focus in sculpture
