  • There are about a dozen old cars on display, which are interesting, but for me the most interesting part was the old AC to DC converters. Which is to say, this is a museum for enthusiasts, or self-pro...  more »
  • If streetcars are authentic jewels in operation, the Museum is a journey to the past by the huge electrical control panels that seem taken from the 50 industrial film. Surprising well preserved everything that is

  • Lovely, compact and nostalgia-filled museum dedicated to history of trams in Porto. Smaller than the Carris one in Lisbon, but just as nice. Great place to take the kids, too. You get to explore the old trams, and even sit in some of them. For a tram buff, it's a must visit place when in Porto. There's a museum tram stop right outside the museum, too (it'll take you to the beach or the city).
  • Nice museum about the history and development of Porto's iconic electric cable cars.
  • Really nice to see, but not worth 8 euros
  • Small but cute. They have a good discount for seniors, and if you rode the tram you can get 30% off with your ticket.
  • nice museum but much trimmed down as compared with what they had in 2000 (although some things improved)
