Estadio do Dragao, Porto

(1,300+ reviews on the web)
Landmark Arena / Stadium
Designed to seat more than 50,000 spectators, Estadio do Dragao hosts the F.C. Porto of the Portuguese Football League System and Union of European Football Associations matches. Its inauguration in 2003 saw a match against F.C. Barcelona, in which Porto won 2-0; that game was also the debut of Lionel Messi. Along with soccer, the stadium also serves as a venue for concerts of prominent musicians, including Deep Purple, The Rolling Stones, and Coldplay. If there's not going to be a match at the time of your visit, check out the team's museum and take a guided tour of the site--use the opportunity to see restricted areas, such as the presidential box, changing rooms, and dugouts. • One of the best stadiums i have ever been to. Amazing atmosphere. great location. Parking is difficult though.
  • Best football stadium in Portugal. Worth visiting for any person who likes football
  • A grate stadium for a grate team. Very comfortable. You can get there by car or subway. It is easy to get in and out. They also have stores and guided tours.
  • The stadium was built around 2003 and it's still very modern. All the seats are covered in case of rain. All painted and decorated in blue and white.
  • Beautiful venue. Outstanding as a football fan and as a music lover. But like all stadiums, expensive food.
