Estadio do Dragao, Porto
(4.5/5 based on 1,100+ reviews on the web)
Designed to seat more than 50,000 spectators, Estadio do Dragao hosts the F.C. Porto of the Portuguese Football League System and Union of European Football Associations matches. Its inauguration in 2003 saw a match against F.C. Barcelona, in which Porto won 2-0; that game was also the debut of Lionel Messi. Along with soccer, the stadium also serves as a venue for concerts of prominent musicians, including Deep Purple, The Rolling Stones, and Coldplay. If there's not going to be a match at the time of your visit, check out the team's museum and take a guided tour of the site--use the opportunity to see restricted areas, such as the presidential box, changing rooms, and dugouts. Arrange your visit to Estadio do Dragao and discover more family-friendly attractions in Porto using our Porto itinerary planner.

  • The stadium was built for the 2004 European Championship, so it's a brand new stadium with a very Rico Museum in information for visitors. Not to mention its not very common for football stadiums.

  • Is not the largest stadium of Portugal but pretty much like all built for the Euro. The guided tour and visit to the Museum are very good! Better than the estadio da Luz-Benfica

  • I was at a League game in February 2016 in the Dragão. Opponent was the FC Arouca, who won the game 2-1. The mood was rather modest, it was very quiet, which was probably the performance of FC Porto this evening. The stadium is very easy to reach by Metro. Overall, a beautiful and interesting Stadium in Porto.

  • Very friendly & helpful staff. Stadium tour started pitch side , and included the visitor's dressing room, the media area and the president's box. The museum was much more interesting and interactive than expected and illustrated the history & the glories of the club. Amusingly both the Stadium tour and the exit from the museum brought you into the FC Porto store - very Disneyesque. Well worth a visit.
  • I saw the clash Porto X Benfica.... great show!!! one of the greatest classics of world football
  • Great place with a great atmosphere. For the beer lovers alas beers are without alcool
  • Best Stadium in the Word, be sure to take the stadium tour and also visit the Museum. Just besides the stadium you have Dolce Vita shopping center with a vast selection of restaurants.
  • Amazing football stadium build for the Europe cup and home to the Fc Porto club. It is a really modern structure beautifully located on a hillside.
