  • We have unfortunately no FADO show experienced because we already were gone but I expect it sure is worth it. We got very good advice when buying a FADO-cd and you notice to the owner that he has much knowledge of business. He also lets you listen to music and take all the time for you. Also the price of the CD was fine. You feel like customer rated. Shop is located near the great bridge over the Douro.

  • If you like to get to know other cultures, then this is an ideal place. Every day except Sunday evening from a one-hour 6 demanding Fado. One intermission, when Porto-t. All this ridiculously low price, only 10 €/person. I can only recommend!

  • Disappointed by the offer of the neighborhood of Bairro Alto in Lisbon for Fado that became a "tourism industry", we hoped, in conclusion our Portuguese in Porto 15 find a place where to feast upon our ears. The office of tourism of the city we indicated this address, for lack of better there have price 2 places (10 euros each, not prohibitive either..). Are left at the intermission of the recital of an hour, after 6 songs, after having swallowed our glass of port offered (...). 2 guitarists not really to the point with a charming singer with a voice "blah". "Well dressed" but low-quality provision, a trap at toutouristes what! Fado deserves much better!

  • We fell in love with this shop in Porto. We were treated very nicely and had expert help in buying a beautiful Mandolin. Now that we are back in the states we are looking for a Mandolin teacher so we can learn to play this great instrument. It really is a great place to visit and learn about these locally made instruments.
  • The one-stop shop for guitar lovers, specially hand-crafted classic portuguese guitars
  • You'll not find a cheap bargain here, but the choice of local instruments and the friendly welcome make up for that. Grab any guitarra you want and strum away. Impromptu jam sessions do not seem uncommon.
  • To organise an evening touching fado performance live from intermezzato a great shot of the Harbour to try
