  • Interesting museum in old sardine factory. Worth a visit to escape the rain or stifling sun. Given its location, slightly surprised that not more of the info panels are translated into English.
  • Small but tough! Really a very nice epic and more with the movie we believe. Very nice reproductions and machines in very good condition. We ate but we'll eat again, especially if they come from the Portugal. Amdoum.

  • The Museum of Portimão surprises for the modernity of the facilities and of the acquis. Interesting program for the whole family, in which if you know more about the history of the region, very close to the fishing. Tip: If you go to Saturday check the website of the Museum free visitation. Easy parking nearby.

  • Great to hear and see on film the history of the sardine industry. Archive films are terrific . You get a real feel of how it must have been. Free entry on Saturdays !!!!
  • This is a Fantastic Must See Museum, I have been a few times, they even have a mini cinema where you can watch a film about the history of the Portuguese fishing sardine industry, each time I go I listen to the film in a different language to make it more interesting.
  • Very good place to learn about the history of the algarve
  • Good to learn something about the history of fishing and sardines in this area.
