  • Site with great potential that is not being well spent. Should be made trips to this place, since it has wonderful waterfalls. The houses of the windmills could be used, since it is part of the history of the region and, in turn, a large part of them is in a State of degradation. Should invest more in this place, due to its potential. You could even organize picnics in the summer months at this location as it has tables and is a very nice place. If we hadn't been accompanied by Pedro Tiago Mendes, never would we get the Cascades or be able to see this wonder.

  • With pedestrian average difficulty, but beautiful! Just the course itself, it's well worth it! When we got near the waterfall we were amazed! It's beautiful!!! There is also a lookout to tens of kilometers of the waterfall, but that allows you to view the waterfall from the top. Very good too!

  • For those who normally seek abroad the most beautiful waterfalls and unusual: don't go any further! In the heart of Portugal, (very close to Penela) there is a waterfall with surely 15 m height and good water flow even in midsummer. The waterfall unfolds in 2 waterfalls (a bigger and another with less time), being quite pleasant on sunny days. access is pedestrian only, but in the parking lot of the vehicle to the waterfall should not be more than 400 m, although by rail with some mud (even in summer) and multiple steps and rocky ascents. For the more adventurous there is above the waterfall, which has a very steep access and something bold, a zone where only if you access the higher quota via rappelling rope that exists on the site. We recommend footwear with trail. Has small picnic Park.

  • Espectacular. Atenção à lama no inverno.
