  • The castelo de Palmela is probably one of the castles of this country in a better state of preservation. Given the proximity of Lisbon, and in the vicinity of Setúbal, expect many weekend visitors. The location is good and clear and allows a wonderful view if we have the sort of time help. And, oddly enough, or maybe not because inside we have an Inn, you don't pay for the visit or the Castle nor the facilities that exist within him.

  • Palmela is a very nice town and the castle on top of a Hill affords a spectacular view of the rivers Tagus and Sado. On sunny days you see very far away.

  • Beautiful castle, even after closing and when raining. Though the view is even better during the day, at night you can see the lights of setubal and Lisbon, and can hang out :)

  • Fantastic hotel great service but heater and jacuzzi tub didn't work.
  • Beautiful and serene. Perfect base for day trips to Lisbon and Sintra.
  • Some areas are under construction and closed off to the public but it still has some of the best views in the area. Come a little before sunset to enjoy the views of the city over a gorgeous sunset. You cab even see the ocean.
  • Awesome place to stay!
  • Place beautiful but very disappointed by the behaviour of the staff... oversight of a guide in our room and despite several telephone contacts and even a mail... no return. Too bad to stay on this bad impression.
