  • Beautiful view ... Over view to some vineyards , also throw the valley of Arrabida , alots of history between the old walls !  more »
  • A superb landscape, where you will find Palmela, Setúbal, Troy, Tagus and Sado River. You can drive up there, however, then it is necessary to climb a little walk (comfortable clothes and shoes, it's imperative!). Has an Inn, and a tapas bar. Imposing monument, and with a lot of history. Incredible surrounding scenery is breathtaking!

  • For me, the strong point of this castle is the panoramic view of Setúbal, Troy, Sierra and Palmela. The castle is beautiful, simple, well engineered but I think it needs some maintenance. At night there's lighting and is stunning. Mandatory stop!

  • Fantastic hotel great service but heater and jacuzzi tub didn't work.
  • Beautiful and serene. Perfect base for day trips to Lisbon and Sintra.
  • Some areas are under construction and closed off to the public but it still has some of the best views in the area. Come a little before sunset to enjoy the views of the city over a gorgeous sunset. You cab even see the ocean.
  • Awesome place to stay!
  • Place beautiful but very disappointed by the behaviour of the staff... oversight of a guide in our room and despite several telephone contacts and even a mail... no return. Too bad to stay on this bad impression.
