  • Wonderful trip, with the ferry to the island from Olhao. Get off at Farol and Culatra, about the southern Beach to enjoy a walk. Finally had lunch at Café restaurante O RUI. With views of the fishing boats. Simple looking accommodation but the Cataplana was the best we've ever eaten. Top a really super good food

  • Nothing changes - Let's hope it doesn't fall foul of the commercialisation bug - unlike Olhao which is slowly losing its charm

  • Fantastic and authentic. The problem was the heat in September that was a little unbearable. The island is a great place to take fish and seafood at prices of laughter.
