  • The outside estimate, within a few ruins, has an interpretive center that lets you know the history of the Castle (€1)

  • The Castle, which seems pretty monumental by the N4 motorway actually is in a deplorable state. In good condition is only the northern part of the city walls (the one that faces the city) and its 3 towers and three gates, is all that remains of the Castle. Everything else is in ruins. In general the territory is quite large, Castle-fortress wall, if it survived, would have a length of about 2 km. There are 16th century monastery (Convento de Saudaçao), the Church (Igreja de s. Tiago), in which the interpritacionnyj Center is dedicated to the history of the Castle, a forest and a huge lawn (here are the archaeological work), the ruins of the Palace (paço dos Alcaides) churches and even the remains of tanks (cisterna arabe)-ancient reservoir of drinking water. From the heights of okryvajutsja Castle, good views of the surrounding area. A pleasant stroll along the track in and around its territory

  • The zone has a very beautiful view on Montemor. Is minimally handled. There's a place for concerts and theatre representations. But no more aspect to highlight.

  • PT: Lindo. Sossego absoluto. Senti me no topo do mundo. ENGLISH: Gorgeous! Off the beaten path! Absolute peace.
  • Nice trip during the day, also an adventurous journey by night
  • I've never been, but Someone told me It was really good, I have no reason to doubt him as he seemed a thoroughly decent fellow. He liked Game of Thrones.
  • A nice wall to visit.
  • A nice stop to visit this ancient castle between Lisbon and Evora. It is only ruins left.
