  • One of the most beautiful villages a few kilometers from Evora. We decided to go in the late afternoon hoping to find a few tourists and enjoy the sunset. Splendid! definitely want to go back and sleep here.

  • A stroll through this wonderful urban centre of the village is actually must go. Starting with the historical walls that surround the town with their 4-Door doors hiding the village, Door dÈvora, Door of Alcoba and the Port Hole. Continuing through its narrow streets with their sidewalk stone and lined with beautiful white-washed houses-stores dec crafts, bars, cafes and restaurants-and decorated with colorful flowers in the doors and Windows. Enjoying the several monuments there are the Church of our Lady of the Lake, the 19th century Pillory, the Hospital of the Holy Spirit and of Mercy, the chapel of Saint Joseph, the House of the Inquisition, the cistern, the Bullring-a real Museum. And the fabulous views mainly toward the Alqueva Lake. visit UNMISSABLE.
