Unfortunately this vestige was the abandonment will not continue in time s he is not saved. A year ago we discovered l aircraft with as many "azulejos" chronicling the 'Scene' there is only an apostle! or the others? What a shame, this place serves as a chicken coop and will deserve d ' be saved before there is no nothing.

  • Too bad this is place is totally abandoned... Only one old man is on site and you let go and visit. Once inside you can imagine what could be this place built by Franciscan monks to 1623 with a magnificent view of Monchique.

  • A beautiful ruin with a great view over Monchique. Part of the ruin is in use as a shed and there is also a chicken house but apart from that its pretty impressive. The owner who lives in the house nearby invites everyone in (to the ruins, not his house) and is more than happy to receive some change. • Interesting ruin (part of the arched roof is held up by long sticks) there's a few friendly people seem to live there (who only speak Portuguese) great views. A lovely area
  • It's a ruin with a nice view over the town. In the ruin live some friendly homeless people who are happy to show you around the place for a small reward.
