  • Well worth the visit to the castle of Marialva. Inhabited until 1855 keeps very well preserved the ruins of the Citadel. With a little effort we can imagine what it would be like the movement of people through the streets.

  • Interesting visit, because you can still view much of the village destroyed within the walls. If you like you can climb the walls but you have to be careful.

  • It is difficult to reach by car, narrow little alleys. It is a spacious yet with in the Middle a well preserved Church/Chapel. We were there on 15-8-16, when there was a procession of the village down to the chapel in the ruins of the Castle, one wear the OLV. images up with fanfare ed. it was wonderful experience.
