  • Not very large Rosary, although varieties and many, but the size of the garden is not striking. There is a very beautiful varieties. In addition to roses, many other colors, some how I realized, endemics, grow in Madeira. Entrance fee is purely symbolic, perhaps, who is engaged in cultivation of roses, will be very interesting. I just liked to walk among the greenery and relax.

  • A small rose garden in the North of the island, is located at the hotel. We are not here, but decided to visit. In General a nice cosy garden, which mainly grow roses. Flowering for about 30% of flowers. Good impression, but recommend not going exactly, if you do not live near ... Entrance from the street is worth the 5 euros.

  • So first I want to clarify that it's more of a 3.5/5 and because we are in July and so the roses are défleuris for the most part. Beautiful rose garden, including the smell you intoxicates all along your walk. There are hundreds of different species and some unknown to the battalion. The exotic garden before the rose garden is also worth a visit with various species such as avocado, coffee, hibiscus, banana, and so on. The only downside is the price of entry € 5 per person, I think, should fluctuate according to the season because in July it has lots of flowers. Otherwise it is to be done but suddenly rather in May/June than in high season.
