With a cost of €1 for retirees and minors of 14 years, and €1.5 for the rest of the visit begins in the Church where we can appreciate the screens/Centennial paintings, as well as some religious figures, the restored pipe organ and the graves of two granddaughters of D. Afonso Henriques: Sancha and d. Teresa. It is possible to visit the cloisters and museological space, where you can find some parts for restoration. Unfortunately in a fire in early 1970, there were parts that were lost forever. To be complete, I wish I had visited the barracks, some rooms and the kitchen of this monastery. Unfortunately has not yet been possible. So it is, I would like to know about. Recommend the tour, very helpful, and very patient guide with visitors.

Teresa and Sancha, granddaughters of King Afonso Henriques. Their tombs in silver are now placed next to the main altar of the Church. Go and enjoy this true Ode to prayer and recollection.

The last Sunday of each month can have the historic organ to be heard in his homily of 11.30 Hrs. Always impressive! This Sunday the ethnographic group usually puts the traditional oven baking mode the delicious old-fashioned Bread ... and also monthly fair day. Are fantastic experiences of authenticity!
A work of art. The visit.
Bit hard to reach. Is also not so best. Impossant building with great history but currently in pretty poor condition. Friendly reception and private tour in Portuguese.
Interesting monument, with a heritage is exceptionally located, but that had a lot of years. In the various visits that performed with the family at any given time, had some of the speeches in the heritage, especially in the choir stalls and the infiltration of the sacristy. I stress here, the knowledge that the cicerone debits without stop, leaves us stunned. Recommend a visit to the monument, will not leave wronged.
What is the schedule of functioning of the Museum?
Is a striking monument, with an unquestionable historic interest. Deserved, perhaps a more careful conservation, including the surrounding area.
